Handheld communicator – Lightwriter SL35

The Lightwriter SL35 is a handheld communicator with a small base area. The distinctive dual display design encourages interaction by positioning communication partners in a natural position for face-to-face communication and allows for effective communication even in noisy situations.

Supporting gestures, mimics or quick reactions to the written text are observable from users or conversation partners. People with good fine motor skills can type in messages directly over the 48 button keyboard. A finger guide on the keyboard can be useful for people with slightly limited motor skills.

Synthetic voice output

Often necessary words or sentences can be saved and then called up with a key code for repeated use. Up to 500 sentences can be given an access key code. Synthetic voice output is used to reproduce to the written text.
