Is it possible to give birth to a child the natural way with spinal cord injury or is it always necessary to have a cae-sarean delivery?

Hormones trigger contractions, contractions lead to pushing. The pushing is usually not as strong as the pushing of non-paralysed women. But a ventouse and other devices can support the woman. If giving birth this way is possible, has to be decided in each individual case.
There is an interesting board discussion about birthing options for women with SCI on: http://www.apparelyzed.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=12681
