Hi
today i was driving my car to town and i saw a woman parking on a disabled parking space. Then she got out of the car normaly on her feet, took a wheelchair out of the back and sat in it.
Should i have said something? To tell her that i find it weird that she is a pretender? Why do people do that anyway? Why they are pretenders?!

Cheers, camilla

Cammy, i dont think she was a pretender. many wheelchair users can still walk a few steps. Not all wheelchair users are para- or quatriplegic. A wheelchair just makes you more mobil. I you can only walk one meter and then you need a break and then another meeter and again a break... and every step is pure pain... then you prefer to take a wheelchair even though you can still stand/walk a little.

see?

I can walk and use a wheelchair too. icon_wink.gif It's like benji said. I have no paralysis. A few steps I can walk bevor the pain is to mutch. My wheelchair give me more mobility as I ever had befor. icon_smile.gif
