Hi Homer

As far as I know (im swiss), there aren't any specialised adoption centre for disabalbe children. Disabled children just get in to the usual adoption process like the other orphans too. If you look for a disabled child, you might have to look quite for a while.

Hi

A friend of mine just aported a disabled child. I was so shocked and disappointed in her. I advised her too to give the child to adoption but she insisted on the "it's the best for the child"-think, like you could tell... icon_frown.gif

I find it great that there are other mums and dads that want to take care of a disabled and refused child and give them back the love they have lost. But website like rainbowkids.com are a bit weird, they list the disabilities and you chose from them like in a supermarket. well I can understand that you are looking for a child with a certain disability if you know a lot about it, maybe because you experienced it before in your familie.
I find it a good thing in general.

bye
