Here is a list of frequently asked questions about the MyHandicap Internet portal and the corresponding answers:

How to ask a question?

You just have to type in your question in the field on the top left of the homepage and click "Send question". Then a mask will appear where you can specify your question.

Where can I choose the discussion board?

After entering a question, the page appears on which you can specify your question. Then you can use the drop-down menu to find the right board for your question.

Who answers the questions?

In the boards of MyHandicap, experts from various disability-relevant fields answer the questions quickly and competently. In addition, the editors research answers to your questions. Other users can contribute helpful answers from their own experiences.

How do I edit my password?

Log on in the Community. If you are logged in, you automatically come to your personal homepage. Click on "edit profile" on the top left. There you can change the password at the bottom of the page. Delete the old password in both fields; add the new password in both fields and save your changes by clicking the button "save entries".

How can I upload a picture to my profile?

Entering your personal homepage through “edit profile”, you can upload an image with the maximum size of 200 kB (you must be logged in). Please make sure that the uploaded images do not violate any copyrights.

How can I manage the access rights of my profile for other users?

If you are logged in, you can set the access rights for your personal homepage on “set access rights”. There you can define exactly who can see what of your profile.

Is there data security on MyHandicap?

What is a MyAdress business entry?

Can I add an appointment/event to the event calendar on MyHandicap?

If your event is relevant for people with disabilities, we take the entry gladly. We're always looking for such information and we can provide a full calendar of events. Please contact our editorial office.

Can I write a blog on MyHandicap?

Yes, you can write your own blog on our website. All information can be found here: Blogging on MyHandicap.

What is the MyHandicap Quality Seal?

This award is given to users who have highly rendered outstanding services to the MyHandicap Community by the high quality of their board contributions and their high voluntary commitment. However, users with a quality seal are still users and do not necessarily reflect the opinion of the editorial office.

What do the credits on my personal homepage mean?

These are the points for the MyHandicap credit system. For different actions on our Internet portal you receive credits. This means: The more active you are in the Community, the more credits you get, the more chances you have in the lottery. Because the number of credits is equal to the number of your tickets in the lottery wheel. More about the lottery.
