In Western industrial nations LGBT (lesbians, gays, bisexuals and transgender) no longer need to hide. Most European countries have adopted leglislation which allows gay people to marry and even, in some cases, to adopt children. But all is not well in the rainbow land. Disabled gay persons often feel discriminated and rejected by "their own kind". This section deals with gay persons with disabilities.

Being disabled and homosexual seems to be a double challenge for both the affected person and his/her environment.
